A Restaurant Waiter on Duty

If there’s one thing I have always told myself, it is getting my staff the best training when I eventually become a restaurant owner. The reason is because these people can either make or mark your business.

There are little things in your business that isn’t little.

Employing a waiter just to serve without marketing orientation will do your business more harm than good.

70% of your business success is in the hands of those that constantly have direct contact with your customer.

I am sure you don’t want to lose 70% of your business success? So, the following will go a long way.

  • Teach your waiters to be in uniform, and well organized.
*Their approach to a customer matters a lot ( putting on a sad face, will make customers feel uncomfortable while putting smiling face, will make them feel at ease)
  • Be ready to hear the worse from a customer, and be ready to give a polite reply to a customer.
  • They should be conscious enough to market your brand to customers, wherever there is an opportunity to do so.

Also encourage and rewards employees for loving your brand, imagine all your employees are deliberately promoting your business, that is a great asset to your business/company.
