Moi Moi

Moi moi is a protein-rich food often enjoyed as a side dish or a main course in Nigerian cuisine. It can be customized with ingredients like vegetables, fish, or meat to suit individual preferences.

Cooking your moimoi, and peeling the beans, isn’t the reason you are not having heartburn.

If you don’t want to experience heartburn after eating beans, soak that beans well first before cooking them.

The reason people think that eating moimoi doesn’t trigger heartburn is that those beans have undergone the process of soaking before finally being taken to the mill for grinding.

While you are washing and peeling the beans, it’s been soaked and I believe it will still remain in water after it’s been washed and peeled.

This is the reason your moimoi isn’t giving you heartburn.

I don’t understand this speculation that the chaff of beans is what causes heartburn.

That’s not true.

You are having heartburn because you didn’t wash and soak before cooking. Do it with warm water, if you are cooking it.

Try this method and thank me later.
